Job Title: SBA Loan Officer
Location: Oakland
Key Duties/Overview
- Underwrite SBA business loans.
- Evaluate financing requests and prepare loan proposals
- Present the loan package for approval by the senior management
- Analyze financial data in details from business and personal financial statements
- Analyze credit reports for creditworthiness
- Study economic trends in firm's industry or branch of industry to predict probable success of new customer
- Assist in review of loan documentation prior to closing
- Service existing loans
Qualifications
- MBA in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting with 1 year experience
- Knowledge of SBA loan products, SBA Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- PCFS – SBA Loan Manager
- Horizon Banking System and Acquire Report Management & Data Warehouse
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong analytical and communication skills
